I am still disturbed by the finding that there is zero median wealth in the Black population of Britain and is trending to zero in the United States. Lack of property ownership and saving and investments means that for us, every Black child born needs to start from scratch.

I write about this in the introduction of my book, New Methods For Women, in terms of knowledge sharing of gender equality so that each wave of feminism builds successfully on the next. Change won’t happen fast enough if women and minorities always have to start from zero.

So in the spirit of not gatekeeping, here are 5 videos I’ve watched today on generational wealth, economics and communities.
