Part 2 - The Horserace Method

When I get an idea in my head, I'm very good at making it happen. So now I'll share my process with you. Are you ready for the race?

Part 2 - The Horserace Method

This is Part 2 in your Everything You Need To Plan Your Best Year Yet and is the method I use to get my projects live and out the door. Read the other parts here. Beyond the paywall is the full Horserace Method with pictures. I will also play an audio file explaining how to do this method on the actual blog post. I hope this is useful for your 2025 planning!

One of the things I cannot bear is the state of being Busy Doing Nothing. You have an idea in your head of what you want to achieve and you are active and productive but things just don't seem to be moving forward. You can't seem to get the idea to come to life.

Forward motion and dynamism are key to getting your projects live. And I mean the big projects, the ones that are probably going to increase your wealth, your power and your freedom. They might be the projects that heal you or satisfy your creativity, either way, they're useless if they're just in your head.

This summer, my brother and I were sat in the garden. I had left London to rest, I'd slept for about a month and I suddenly felt rejuvenated and my brain was whirring with new things I wanted to do. I said to him "By the end of summer, I'm going to <I LISTED 3 DOCUMENTS I WAS GOING TO MAKE> and each one is going to pay me <LISTED AMOUNTS I COULD PROBABLY GET FOR EACH ONE> and then I'll just see which idea gets off the ground. Watch me." He chuckled at me, like all my family have been chuckling at me since I was a kid. With a slight doubt but but also knowing that if I said it, I'll probably do it. It was just 6 weeks later that one of the projects was funded. He laughed even more.

Part 1 of this series was all about knowing yourself, setting your Vision, Mission and Principles and Creating your Vision Plan, but this year, I'm going to push you further to create your actual roadmap and plan out your 2025 with the Horserace Method. When I get an idea in my head, I'm very good at making it happen and I'm excited to share my process with you. Are you ready for the race?

What is the Horserace Method?

The Horserace Method involves road mapping multiple projects so that you don't neglect any of them. It has the principle of sequential planning and creates a permanent visual reminder of where you are at with your goals.

How Do I Do It?

If you're a productivity girlie like me, you'll enjoy this process but it does take some time. So get cosy at your home or office, clear a wall and begin. Here are the principles...
