Take a deep breathe in...and say it with me...
We understand that in their most simplistic terms, there are three attachment styles: secure, anxious and avoidant, which can determine our behavior towards others. We work to understand where we sit on the spectrum and analyze the behaviors that come with that self-diagnosis. What was the trauma that activated our attachment alarm system, and how do we cope with it? From here, we start to make choices. We no longer mindlessly attract partners that create low self-worth and we work to reprogramme the protest behaviors that stop us building deep connections with ourselves and others.
