New Method 5 | Label Your Trauma

New Method 5 | Label Your Trauma

This is your weekly affirmation to help you build your personal philosophy. Have a great weekend!

Take a deep breathe in...and say it with me...

Self-loathing is the disease of the modern woman and we must find compassion in ourselves and our own experiences. We know that doing the work of uncovering and naming our traumas is painful, but it is only through this work that we can begin self-acceptance. Naming our traumas allows us to identify the problem, and it is upon identification that we can begin to work to solve it. This work is critical because it forms the foundation of how we move through the world and breaks the intergenerational trauma cycle, the genetic imprint of our trauma that lives on in future generations. We chart the root cause of the behaviors that keep us from accessing our full power and from building deep relations with ourselves and others. Once we know our trauma triggers, we create systems to manage them from within rather than project them externally. The work starts with acknowledgement and acceptance.
